I work with Black women, femmes, and non-binary people of color who are ready to heal from trauma and reclaim a sense of steadiness in their lives. Many of the people I support are navigating childhood trauma, sexual trauma, betrayal, medical trauma, or painful relationship patterns that continue to echo in the present.
You may find yourself replaying the past, questioning your safety, feeling like you have to be perfect, or carrying a quiet belief that “I should have known better.” Trauma does not just live in memory. It lives in the body. It can show up as anxiety, intrusive thoughts, emotional reactivity, numbness, or a constant sense of vigilance.
Therapy is for anyone and not a one-size-fits-all routine. I believe in working alongside clients to determine the best path forward. A safe space will always be provided but growth comes from discomfort and admitting to how we exist outside of what may be considered normal.
I am a compassionate and client centered therapist who works with individuals facing a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and life challenges. My approach is collaborative and strength based, focusing on helping clients develop insight, coping skills, and confidence to create positive change. I have experience working with concerns such as substance use, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. I believe treatment should be practical, respectful, and tailored to each individual's goals. My goal is to provide a supportive environment where clients feel empowered to take steps toward a healthier and more fulfilling life.
I know how heavy life can feel when you’re carrying pain, uncertainty, or self-doubt. But I believe, as a wise old wizard once said, “Happiness can be found even in the darkest of places, if one only remembers to turn on the light.” My role is to help you find that light again. I work with Gen Z and Millennial adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and more. Through integrative, culturally responsive care, I combine evidence-based psychiatry with holistic strategies to help you feel heard, supported, and empowered to create a life that aligns with your true self.
Hello and welcome! I am a Certified Sex Therapist and Psychotherapist working with individuals and couples who face obstacles with sexual health, intimacy, mood disorders, communication, disabilities and life stressors. Sexual health can be impacted by a variety of issues from anxiety, depression, mismatched libidos, lack of education and understanding, orientation, identity and society. My knowledge is quite diverse, as are the clients I work with. I use anecdotal stories to engage with and connect to my clients. I look forward to meeting you!
If you've spent years masking, over-explaining, or fitting into spaces that were never built for you — this is different. I'm a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with an MSW from UC Berkeley. My practice centers neurodivergent adults, LGBTQ+ individuals, people navigating complex cultural identities, and those carrying trauma. I draw from evidence-based approaches and the healing traditions of my Tlingit and Hawaiian heritage. Before private practice, I worked with communities traditional therapy often overlooked — including first responders. You don't need to be fixed here. You need to be understood.
Before opening my private practice, I worked as a first responder, and also in government service and community settings and with diverse populations who often felt overlooked by traditional therapy and support approaches.
I earned my Master of Arts degree in psychology with a focus on marriage and family therapy to pursue my passion for helping others navigate life's challenges, achieve personal growth, and heal. My education and training have equipped me with the knowledge and skills to provide effective, evidence-based therapy to my clients.
