Hi, I’m Jackie —a British-born, NYU-trained therapist and executive coach with Jamaican roots. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC), with over 20 years of experience. I specialize in workplace stress, ADHD, substance use, and life transitions. I love working with people from all walks of life and creating an inclusive space where you feel supported and empowered.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with me?
You can expect a safe, nonjudgmental space to process what you're going through, along with tools and insights you can use right away. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready for change, I’ll support you in building resilience, finding clarity, and feeling more confident in your next steps.
I am a Chicano male raised in the Midwest. I have served my community as a counselor, professor, mentor, therapist, and advocate for students, especially first generation and men of color. I have a Masters in Social Work and an LCSW that has allowed me the opportunity to connect my ancestral practices in relating with the mystery and the emerging field of psychedelic assisted psychotherapy.
Hi! My name is Jessica. I am a Clinical Social Worker with a Masters degree from U of I (I.L.L.). My clinical experience began in 2004 as a therapist for a foster care program. The bulk of my experience is with children 3-17 who were in crisis; dealt with depression, anxiety and self esteem issues. I also have experience working with adults in the same capacity as well as dealing with relationships and aging. My personal goal is to always help people feel better.
I believe that the relationship between a client and therapist is unique. It requires a great deal of trust on the side of the client and an open and honest approach on the side of the therapist. For the last 20 years, I have worked with individuals and families in a school setting as well as in private practice. I have learned that everyone, even when part of a family system, has his or her own needs that can be met through a therapeutic relationship.
Working from a therapeutic approach tailored to each client, I'm excited to help you develop insight and apply techniques to make meaningful changes. I provide a nonjudgmental, empathic environment in which you can feel comfortable discussing what you need to in order to heal.
I definitely will work with what the client is comfortable with. I am non-judgmental as everyone has times when they are ashamed or embarrassed. I work well with many types of people - teens, women, men, couples, families.
