Welcome to my profile page - I'm so glad you are here!
Whether you are coming to therapy for the first time or have years of experience working with a mental health practitioner, I commend you for taking a step towards positive change.
Life can present even the strongest people with challenging obstacles. Perhaps you want to improve your relationships, quiet your inner critic, let go of perfectionism, live a more purposeful life, or overcome your anxiety? I'm here to help.
Meaningful change requires courage and curiosity. With genuine kindness, compassion (and sometimes a little humor), I can help you achieve the goals you set for yourself.
Prior to becoming a psychotherapist, I worked in the software and retail manufacturing industries. I believe it was my listening and problem-solving skills and my sincere interest in people's unique life stories that eventually lead me to this role. You can learn more about me and my approach on my website at www.jeanettekuhns.com.
Great to meet you!
