Hi, my name is Geralda Gelus-Jules, DNP, PMHNP-BC, and I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. I work with adults and young adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, mood changes, and life stressors.
My style is warm, down-to-earth, and supportive. I believe healing happens when you feel truly heard, respected, and never judged. Together, we will explore what you are going through, identify patterns, and build a plan that may include medication, coping skills, lifestyle changes, and referrals for therapy when needed.
As a nurse practitioner, I combine medical knowledge with a holistic view of you as a whole person—mind, body, culture, family, and environment. My goal is to help you feel more stable, hopeful, and in control of your life again.
I am currently accepting new clients and would be honored to support you on your mental health journey.
Finding a new therapist is hard. Finding that person with whom you can “click” is not an easy task but your effort to do so has the potential to be transformational for you.
I am a licensed clinical social worker and have been working with individuals and couples for almost ten years. I have helped people working though issues including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.
I believe that trust and honesty are the foundation to the helping relationship. I am also trainings in EMDR and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and strive to offer current evidence-based interventions to help my clients heal.
I most of all believe that having respect for my clients and their concerns is at the heart of creating trust. Having a place to feel heard, understood without judgement can be freeing in and of itself. So whether you have depression, childhood trauma or even combat related trauma I hope you will reach out for a consultation to see if we do “click”.
I will hear your story and help you explore and plan to accomplish your goals. I am easy-going, friendly, empathetic, and non-judgmental. I enjoy working with individuals moving through difficult life transitions where they may feel lost. We can find the answers together. We will explore possibilities that will enable you to think more creatively about solutions to current life obstacles, allowing you to live more fully in the present and with greater joy and fulfillment.
