I might be a therapist, but I am a human too!
I believe in building a relationship with clients that is warm and authentic. I honor important boundaries and ethics (therapy is not the same as friendship), but I do not believe in being detached and robotic. I joke and laugh with you, I ask questions rooted in curiosity about who you are, and I share my thoughts or opinions when you want them.
I graduated from Wake Forest University in 2013 with BAs in Psychology and English. I then attained a MS/EdS from the highly-esteemed Counseling program at UNC-Greensboro in 2016. I have worked as an Outpatient Therapist in Greensboro since 2016 serving people of many different backgrounds, identities, and therapeutic goals.
Greetings!
I'm Corey, board-certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive mental health care for individuals across the lifespan. At the heart of my practice is a commitment to truly listening to your story and working with you to create a personalized path toward healing, balance, and improved well-being.
With a strong foundation in both nursing and psychiatry, I offer an integrative approach to mental health that combines thoughtful medication management with supportive, therapeutic care. I work with individuals facing a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, trauma, and stress-related conditions.
I believe in treating the whole person—not just symptoms. My approach is collaborative, respectful, and rooted in evidence-based practices. Whether you're seeking a new diagnosis, exploring treatment options, or need ongoing support to maintain your mental health, I strive to create a safe and welcoming space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered.
Clients often come to me because they value thoughtful insight, nonjudgmental support, creativity, and a results-oriented mindset. I believe that the right help—delivered with empathy and expertise—can make all the difference.
Taking the first step can feel overwhelming—but you don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to help you move forward, with care that meets you where you are.

Hello, want to work together on a path to Clarity in 2026? I provide ADHD Support in North Carolina
I provide support to NC residents through telehealth or in-person visits at our Pittsboro office in the Chatham Wellness Collective. (south of Chapel Hill)
A Streamlined Approach to ADHD Care. Navigating the ADHD assessment and treatment process can be frustrating and expensive. Many individuals face delays, expensive testing fees, and additional requirements, such as a psychological evaluation and/or a doctor’s note or EKG, just to receive care. Others are seen by telehealth only providers who can't prescribe stimulants and are misled that Wellbutrin or Strattera are first line treatments (they are not). At our clinic, we prioritize efficiency and accessibility. We do not require psychological testing or a doctor’s note for adult ADHD, unless there’s uncertainty about the diagnosis or existing cardiac history that warrants an EKG.
Being efficient doesn’t mean we are 'easy' to get stimulants from, it does mean we eliminate unnecessary obstacles to your care.
We believe in low doses of medication and finding your perfect dose to balance attention with mood. Most of our ADHD patients are on low dosing.
My approach to treatment is collaborative, forward-thinking, and tailored to your unique needs. I strive to create a warm, inviting atmosphere where you can feel comfortable discussing your challenges.
Important Update Please be aware that starting in 2027, the DEA has signaled requiring a yearly in-person visit for all patients receiving controlled substance prescriptions. If you’re coming from outside Pittsboro, you may need to plan for this annual visit
