If you’re an individual who is currently stuck or in a life transition, I’m here to help you maximize your true potential, find your clear purpose and release the power within. Life transitions and challenges are personal and unique. And although they can be abrupt and sometimes predictable, we all experience them throughout our lives. Stressors are often emotional taxing changes that create uncertainty and confusion. These life changing events cause us to re-examine our present sense of being and evaluate our priorities. I will help you envision the future that you want, create goals, then help you pursue those goals. To realize this plan, you’ll need a coach, a partner, an ally during the difficult process of transition. You are the expert! You know yourself! I ask powerful questions and help to facilitate positive change. I am committed to serving you as your accountability partner, therapist, and ally during this time of uncertainty and definite change. As your therapist, I can help you develop healthy coping mechanisms to adapt to the stress surrounding your current circumstances.

I have extensive experience in providing the tools, strategies, and support to help others create meaningful change in their lives. As a professional certified life coach, entrepreneur, licensed clinical mental health counselor and part time professor, I know first-hand, the challenges of struggling to find balance, ignite passion and seting goals. I hold a Ph.D. in Counselor Education from UNC-Charlotte. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, (LCMHC) a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS), and a Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS). I have three years of teaching experience at a local university teaching graduate students in the field of counseling. I am experienced psychotherapist whom specializes in child and adolescent behavioral therapy, military families, trauma, addiction counseling, parenting, mood disorders, and counselor training & supervision.

Counseling is a place of acceptance where you can learn to see your true value. You hold the keys to your happiness. You just need support to unlock that door. Doing it alone will keep you stuck. You can learn to trust again. I received specialized training in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am also a Registered Play Therapist and enhance parent-child communication. I have an office where I see individuals and families. I also have two large rooms where I teach parents how to use Play Therapy Skills.
