Hi, my name is Kathryn Powell (LCSW) and I am a licensed therapist skilled in empowering clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, navigating life transitions, self-esteem and body image concerns. I aim to provide a supportive and collaborative space where you can share openly and discuss the challenges you are facing. We will work together to explore your concerns and goals, while I offer guidance and evidenced-based skills training to help you create positive change.
I help women and teenagers get back to their most confident, grounded selves, even in their lowest, messiest, most overwhelming moments. My work is about cutting through the noise and helping clients reconnect with who they are underneath the anxiety, life transitions, self-doubt, or emotional burnout.
I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work and am a licensed clinical social worker with experience supporting adolescents, young adults, and women navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and major life transitionsincluding divorce and identity shifts.
Board-certified in Adult and General Psychiatry in 2016. Fellowship trained in Forensic Psychiatry. Since 2016, I have worked in the field of addiction, forensics, and private practice, as a clinical and forensic psychiatrist.
I bring a compassionate, approachable style to my work. With a solid professional background and continued training, I focus on providing individualized support tailored to each client’s goals. I specialize in areas that allow me to help clients build clarity, confidence, and meaningful progress in their lives.
Taking the first step toward therapy takes courage, and I’m glad you’re here. I’ve spent many years supporting people through life’s challenges, and I often work with those feeling overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, depression, anger, low motivation, or self-esteem struggles.
Hello! Thank you for taking the brave step in moving forward in your journey of healing. I hope to provide a space for you to process, explore, and find relief with the thoughts and feelings that have led you to seek support.
My name is Marley Deutchman, a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) in NY, NJ, and FL. I treat children, adolescents, and adult clients from diverse backgrounds utilizing treatment approaches based on the developmental level of the individual. I also treat and provide supportive therapies for families and provide parent-training when needed. I have specific training and experience in treating individuals with autistic spectrum disorders.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Master’s Level Certified Addiction Professional (MCAP) with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. I specialize in treating substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions, using evidence-based approaches like motivational interviewing and individualized treatment planning. My experience includes facilitating group therapy and working with diverse adult populations in recovery. I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard and empowered to make positive changes.
I am a double board-certified Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry and Medicine–Surgical Nursing, with over 20 years of experience caring for patients across hospital and outpatient settings. I graduated from the University of Miami and served as a Cardiac Unit Head Nurse, where I developed a deep understanding of how stress, inflammation, and physical health influence emotional well-being. I also hold a Master’s degree in Education, reflecting my dedication to service and my passion for helping patients and families improve their health through knowledge and collaboration.
My call to start an outpatient psychiatry practice came from a desire to promote comprehensive, whole-person assessments that bridge mental and physical health. I’m passionate about helping people connect the dots between mind and body, especially when managing anxiety, depression, trauma, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Many of my patients come to me feeling stuck in cycles of overthinking or stress-related symptoms. Together, we work on regaining calm, control, and clarity through therapy, lifestyle balance, and self-awareness.
My name is Amy Lee Ellowitz and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I specialize in working with individuals navigating major life transitions who struggle with feeling overwhelmed by loss, relationship changes, identity shifts, and other "lifequakes" that shake their foundation.
I help by blending evidence-based therapeutic methods with genuine understanding drawn from my own experiences with transformation, creating a safe space where you remain in the driver's seat while building resilience and rediscovering your authentic self. In our first few sessions, you can expect a compassionate, affirming environment where your story is honored, your pace is respected, and we begin processing your experiences while establishing the foundation for meaningful growth. My practice is unique because I bring personal understanding of life's major disruptions and view challenges as opportunities for transformation rather than defining moments, always honoring your unique identity and journey. I am passionate about this work because your story matters deeply to me, and I believe lifequakes can become the foundation for renewed purpose—you don't have to navigate these changes alone, and witnessing your resilience and growth is deeply meaningful.
My clients arrive feeling overwhelmed by major life disruptions. They're questioning who they are, feeling isolated, and struggling with anxiety or grief. They want to rediscover themselves, build resilience, and transform their pain into meaningful growth with compassionate support.
