Hello! Thanks for taking a moment to learn more about me.
My name is Caterina and I am a Board Certified Art Therapist, Clinical Trauma Specialist and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I am also a Certified Somatic EMDR Practitioner, Plant Medicine Facilitator and Psychedelic Harm Reduction and Integration Specialist. I’ve been working in the mental health field for 17 years helping individuals understand and heal from adverse experiences by engaging in the creative process.
Life transitions can be difficult and it is my pleasure to assist whether you are changing careers, expanding or downsizing in family roles or just trying to decide what's next. I am an ADHD advocate and enjoy helping clients make sense of the chaotic mind. I also love, love and work with couples experiencing relationship issues.
I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with over 30 years of experience in social work (25 years master's level and 8 bachelor's level). I have experience in adult mental health and have specialized in trauma, depression, anxiety, and PTSD. I have 12 years working with Veterans and extensive experience in medical social work, including hospital, home care, and hospice settings. I hold a Master's degree from UIC- Jane Addams College of Social Work.
Hi! As a mental health counselor I have worked with people of many and varied backgrounds for 19 years. I welcome the opportunity to get to know those personally under my care and to work with clients toward positive change and growth. My Master's degree is in Clinical Social Work from Aurora University, Aurora, Illinois. Clinical Social Work is another way of saying I help those who may be struggling with social anxiety, feelings of hopelessness or sadness, mental health issues, relationships, feelings of not liking yourself, and many more. I look forward to getting to know you!
Hi, I'm Latosha Haywood, LCPC, with a Master in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from DePaul University and I'm really glad you're here.
Before I became a therapist, I spent years as a 911 call taker, showing up for people in some of their scariest, most overwhelming moments. That work taught me something I carry into every session: that people are so much stronger than they realize, and that having someone truly in your corner can make all the difference.
If you're going through something hard right now, whether it's the heaviness of anxiety or depression, the echoes of past trauma, or just feeling like life has knocked you off balance, I want you to know that you don't have to figure it out alone. My door is open, and you can come exactly as you are.
Great to meet you!
I am a licensed clinical social worker in Illinois and Michigan with over thirty years experience in the Employee Assistance Program field. I received my Masters in Social Work from Loyola University in 1992.
My specialty areas include relationship challenges, parenting, substance abuse, depression, anxiety and eating disorders. I primarily work with adults and teens.
