Like many of my clients, I’m human first. I’ve had my share of joys and challenges, including growing up as a child of divorce—experiences that deeply shaped who I am and how I show up as a therapist. During my senior year as a Ronald E. McNair scholar, finishing my BFA in Theater, I realized my calling was to help others heal. That moment led me to pursue a Master’s in Social Work, with the dream of one day opening a private practice. Sixteen years later, I’m grateful to do work that feels meaningful, grounded in compassion, and led by lived experience.
I am a dedicated mental health professional with 16 years of experience in working with individuals, couples, & families to ensure they have the treatment and intervention needed to navigate everyday challenges of life & aid them in overcoming emotional obstacles and social hurdles that they face daily
To listen to another person's story and be a part of the process of their progress is my mission. I have always been curious about human interactions and the story that someone tells. As a psychotherapist, I see that working with the human psyche in the Western world can present challenges. A place where "wellness" is fostered with approaches that seek to eliminate undesired behaviors and thought patterns. Instead I work in a way that welcomes all aspects of you and and your personality. I bring a compassionate and curious approach to facilitating your journey toward understanding yourself more deeply and moving toward change.
I am an incredibly empathetic therapist who's joy is to provide a safe space to my clients. I utilize a variety of counseling theories in order to provide services. I am engaging and inquisitive and enjoy invoking humor within the sessions when appropriate.
I'm passionate about helping adults navigate anxiety and depression—I truly thrive when helping clients break the grip of panic. My ideal clients are ready to move beyond "just talking" into action, mastering the practical strategies needed to reclaim their well-being. Using a direct, empowering approach, we'll untangle how your thoughts shape your emotions. Together, we'll build a toolkit to manage both mental overwhelm and the physical toll of anxiety. My goal is to equip you with the confidence and high-level tools to navigate life's stressors independently and finally feel like yourself again.
With 20 years of experience, I am a certified CBT specialist dedicated to helping adults break free from anxiety disorders, panic, OCD, ADHD, depression, and insomnia with CBT-I. My approach is direct and empowering; I don't just listen—I equip you with a specialized toolkit to silence intrusive thoughts so you can manage your mental well-being independently.

I work with adults who are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally stuck—even when life on the outside may look manageable.
I help clients identify patterns, reduce stress, and build practical tools using CBT and ACT. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who values creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to be honest about what they’re experiencing. My work is informed by a deep respect for cultural background, lived experience, and the different ways people make sense of their struggles.
Hi, my name is Geralda Gelus-Jules, DNP, PMHNP-BC, and I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. I work with adults and young adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, mood changes, and life stressors.
My style is warm, down-to-earth, and supportive. I believe healing happens when you feel truly heard, respected, and never judged. Together, we will explore what you are going through, identify patterns, and build a plan that may include medication, coping skills, lifestyle changes, and referrals for therapy when needed.
As a nurse practitioner, I combine medical knowledge with a holistic view of you as a whole person—mind, body, culture, family, and environment. My goal is to help you feel more stable, hopeful, and in control of your life again.
I am currently accepting new clients and would be honored to support you on your mental health journey.
