Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. It is my goal to provide a safe space for my clients to feel supported, respected and challenged. I have been working in this field since 2001 with diverse population's. I have worked with client's with a variety of mental health issues, such as Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, and Trauma. Beyond the credentials and education I just want to help people move forward. I believe that everyone wants and deserves to be heard and understood.
Navigating life’s challenges can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone. I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 7 years of experience helping individuals manage mental health and substance use concerns. My approach to therapy is warm, welcoming, client-centered, and often sprinkled with humor and optimism to make the journey feel a little lighter. I believe in meeting clients where they are, and I tailor my techniques to suit each person’s unique strengths and goals.
I work with children (ages 11+), adolescents, and adults, offering support across a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, or struggling with substance use, I offer a safe and supportive space to explore your concerns and build meaningful change. I also work with individuals experiencing challenges such as domestic violence, anger management issues, adjustment disorders, and family or romantic relationship struggles. I have extensive experience working with mandated clients and those navigating probation or the criminal justice system.
I hold a Master's degree in Forensic Mental Health Counseling from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and a Bachelor's in Psychology from Siena College. My clinical work includes experience with alcohol, cannabis, opiate, and hallucinogen use disorders, as well as mood and personality disorders including bipolar disorder and borderline personality disorder. I also support clients coping with grief and loss.
