I am a warm and creative counselor dedicated to helping clients reach their full potential. I enjoy working with individuals ages 3 through adulthood, guiding them on their mental health journey through empathy, collaboration, and goal setting. By using research-based practices, I strive to empower each person to grow, heal, and become the best version of themselves.
My name is Shelly-Ann Jmaes-Perelion, and I have over 20 years of experience in education and 12 years of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor. I served as a high school counselor for seven years and am currently in my sixth year as a Mental Health Intervention Counselor in the CFISD school district.
As a licensed clinical social worker with a master’s degree from The National Catholic School of Social Services, I bring extensive experience from my work in university-based teaching hospitals and ambulatory care clinics. My practice focuses on supporting adults and their caregivers through challenges such as anxiety, depression, complex medical conditions (acute and chronic), medical trauma, loss, grief, and significant life transitions.
I have a specialization in guiding individuals and their caregivers through the cancer journey, encompassing every phase—from diagnosis and treatment to recovery, survivorship, and end-of-life care. I have also worked extensively with patients undergoing stem cell transplants, CAR-T and immunotherapy.
My training and experience also includes helping individuals manage disorders of the brain-gut interaction. Support, education and strategies address the connection between the mind and gastrointestinal health. Recognizing that everyday stressors can greatly affect your well-being, I adapt my clinical approach to suit a variety of life situations, always tailoring care to meet your unique needs.
I believe that our greatest ability as humans is the ability to exercise compassion. I've worked in rural settings, community health clinics and have experience serving those from all walks of life. I am a therapist who has done the work and continues to learn and grow. As part of the LGBTQIA+ community, I continue to advocate both personally and professionally.

My name is William Dexter I am a LMFT licensed marriage family therapist. I am devoted to the health, well-being, and safety of clients and have lived a clean and sober lifestyle for over thirty years. My approach to therapy is to focus on relationships with yourself, with others, and with your Higher Power or GOD as you understand him. I believe the problem is not knowing who you are, and the solution is finding out who you are.
Therapy is a deeply personal journey. It is one that is unique to each individual. Whether we meet weekly or biweekly, I encourage my clients to bring the aspects of life they’d like to explore and grow through. Together, we can uncover the roots of your struggles and develop ways to navigate discomfort and pain. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. It’s tailored to your needs, whether that means working through a specific challenge—feeling stuck, sad, or angry—or simply gaining a deeper understanding of yourself. With me, you will find a space where you are seen, heard, and supported every step of the way.
